Single Session Open Studio

2 hours open studio session for additional practice. Prerequisite: call the studio (864-539-2389) and schedule a private evaluation prior to registering for this session. Register as often as needed following approval from an evaluation with one of our instructors.

Participants who need a space to work on a short-term basis are welcome to sign up for these sessions. 5 lbs of mid-fire clay included in each session.

Participants must schedule separate individual tutorial sessions if they have questions about technique. Monitors facilitate the use of the studio space but are not available for instructional purposes.

These sessions are purposed mainly for practice though items can be left to be bisque fired (anything over 6" in height needs to be approved based on space availability). Glaze kiln firing can be available for anything made during sessions that participants want to keep with a $10 per half shelf (glaze = cone 6). Dipping glazes in our studio are available during studio sessions, or paintable glazes can be purchased separately from our distribution center above the studio.
